Signature HealthCARE of Hartford held their annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony Thursday, November 8th. Inductees were: Ralph Merrow (Elder) recognized for his military service and community involvement; Janice McDaniel (Stakeholder for 34 years) recognized for professional achievement and personal accomplishments; Lisa Payne (Stakeholder for 20 years) recognized for her personal achievements; and Karen Ward (Community Member/Volunteer) recognized for her public service and volunteerism. Karen has been the beautician for our facility for 30+ years.
The night began with refreshments provided by our dietary staff along with music provided by Isaac Belcher. Opening prayer was given by JT Belcher. Guest Speaker, Jerry Wright, spoke of the importance of long-term care nursing facilities and how it’s important for everyone to be involved in the lives of the Elders. He commended Signature Healthcare and the staff for not only the care that his family member has received but for the compassion that he has been shown as well.
Debi Puckett, Quality of Life Director, read the Hall of Fame Mission Statement followed by the poem “Hometown Hero” read by Alissa Logsdon, Admissions/Marketing Director. Each inductee was presented a plaque that will also be displayed in Signature of Hartford’s Hall of Fame CafĂ©. Closing remarks were then given by administrator Justin Hendrix who thanked everyone for attending and the support that is shown to our facility.
